This safari starts on the 23rd September when we collect you at 10am from the Kazungula Border Post with Victoria Falls. You enjoy a 3 hour boat cruise on the Chobe River before heading deep into the park at our exclusive site only minutes from river and floodplain. Depending on game movements we will explore from Serondera to Simwanza Dams while here. The Chobe River will be attracting huge numbers of animals a great time to be here.

On the 26th September after a last early Chobe River game drive, we head 6 hours south to Savuti, taking a picnic lunch with us. The natural waterholes in this area will have dried up and the solar pumped waterholes at Rhino Vlei, Marabou and Pump Pans will be hives of activity, we will visit them and spend some quality time watching the activity in these essential to life places. In addition to our normal game drives we will visit a rock island that protects 13 majestic Baobab Tree’s and view a small panel of Bushmen paintings after a short but steep climb.

On the 29th September after a short early drive at Savuti we head south again for 5 hour to the Khwai Community Concession where we set up camp for 3 nights at Magotho. In this area we area we are allowed, at your guide’s discretion, to drive off road which is great for photo’s at Leopard sightings, which this area is renowned for. You will enjoy a tranquil 2 1/2 hour early morning mekoro trip whilst here and one eveing after sundowners at the river we will spotlight back to our camp.

On the 2nd October after a last early morning game drive at Khwai and a hearty breakfast we drive to Maun in time for flights to Johannesburg
