2nd May 2022 Optional – you fly into Victoria Falls Airport, from either Capetown, Johannesburg, Windhoek, Addis Ababa or Dubai, and have 3 nights at 528 Victoria Falls. There is so much to do in the Falls – check out the Wild Horizons web site and we will book and pay for (at your expense) any activities that take your fancy.
Optional Alternative Fly into Kasane 1st May and transfer to Katimo Mulilo in Namibia and overnight at Caprivi Safari Lodge, bed dinner and breakfast included. The next 3 nights spent on a small cosy efficiently designed houseboat going down the mighty Zambezi River and camping on beaches along the way but in tents built onto the roof of the houseboat while the skipper camps on the beach. This is GREAT for birders, and people who want to witness life along the river – great cultural insights to be gained here. The last night is when you get to Chobe National Park, see the Game that drinks from this seasonally (now in May) flooded habitat and we meet you in Kasane at 9am on the 5th May 2022.
5th May we meet you at the Airport in Kasane or the Kazungula Border from Victoria Falls at 10am We have a 3 hour boat cruise on the Chobe River and lunch in Kasane, before we game drive into Chobe National Park, and along the river and floodplain 50km to our exclusive site near the Namibian Border.

On the 18th May 2022 we drive to Maun after an early morning Xini Lagoon game drive, and have lunch there and then take you to The Waterfront on the banks of the Thamalakane River where you overnight, catch up on your e mails, relax and swim if you desire. We will then drive together down the tar road and into Makgadikgadi Pans NP this can be the sandiest road we use in Botswana but in May it should be trouble free. We will drop our luggage and the water/wood trailer at our exclusive site and then go to game view along the Boteti River enjoying our picnic lunch. The Boteti River may be dry but I think it will be flowing.
We only have 2 nights in this small park, great for Raptors, Zebra, Kudu, Giraffes and Elephants and sometimes Hippo and a myriad of water birds
On the 24th May after our early morning game drive we meet our crew at Khumaga Gate and cross the Boteti River, to Khumaga Village
